Its a known fact that the new batch of St Teresa on screen is the most awaited and as we get closer to the release of Student of the Year 2, Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria launch the peppy number – The Jawaani Song from their film.
Titled Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, it’s a redux version of the RD Burman’s classic sung by Kishore Kumar. The new version has been created by duo Vishal – Shekhar.
The cast of the film were excited to release their version of this iconic song at a club in Mumbai today. With its foot-tapping tune, catchy lyrics and a hook step worth replicating, the song will make you want to groove.
While talking about the song Tiger revealed, “This is just a tribute from our side, in no way are we trying to do a remake”
The original song was picturised on Randhir Kapoor and Jaya Bachchan and as revealed at the press meet, it is a favourite of Tiger’s father Jackie Shroff.
Co-star Tara says, ” It’s a privilege to dance on this song”
“It was a very surreal feeling and felt magical to be a part of this song”, adds Ananya
Fox Star Studios presents a Dharma Productions film Student Of The Year 2. Directed by Punit Malhotra, produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar & Apoorva Mehta, the film is set to release on 10th May, 2019.
